Ephraim Kirby Award Presentation
To the Companions and Sir Knights in the Grand York Rite of Missouri:
As Custodian of the Ephraim Kirby Award for Missouri, it is my privilege to announce the nomination and selection of the 2026 awardee. The Ephraim Kirby Award has been given to an honoree since 2014 and this year marks the 18th selectee from Missouri.
I am pleased to announce that Excellent Companion Kirby Trent Moreland Past Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Missouri (2017-2018) and Deputy Grand Governor of the York Rite Sovereign College of North America in Missouri (since 2022) will be presented this distinction on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at the St. Louis Masonic Center, 15977 Clayton Road, Ballwin following a dinner at 6:30 pm and preceding the annual installation of officers of Bellefontaine Chapter No. 25 Royal Arch Masons, Dr. Moreland’s home chapter.
The activities and contributions of the honoree will be highlighted that evening, which run the gamut of our Masonic fraternity. Consideration for the Ephraim Kirby Award is limited to past grand presiding officers of the 4 coordinate bodies of the York Rite: Grand Lodge, Grand Chapter, Grand Council, and Grand Commandery, and their efforts across the width and breadth of the fraternity.
